Desander is the second phase solids control equipment, it can be combine with desilter, to treat the drilling fluids, It is composed of hydraulic desander hydrocyclone, shale shaker and cyclone pipe. the most common cone is 8” or 10”, mainly separate size of 47-76μm solids particles out from drilling fluids. Desander is also called Hydrocyclone Desander or Cyclone Desander. In the light of clients’ treating capacity can choose the number of cones.
